The Race Equality Centre Remembers Our Friend And Colleague Vinod Chudasama 14/4/67 - 06/01/21

Vinod Chudasama’s involvement with The Race Equality Centre over a significant number of years (nay, decades) included:

1. Programme Officer for the Catalyst Mentoring Programme
2. Lead Officer of the Sherpa Project - working across Europe - the Netherlands, Finland, Spain and, Latvia;
3. Programme Manager for the Catalyst Mentoring Programme
4. Programme lead on our ‘Health & Community Advocacy’ Programme
5. Programme manager for Routeway into Employment
6. Business Development Advisor for the Enterprising New Arrivals and, Enterprise Development Services;
7. Executive Committee member
8. Volunteer.

Vinod is known for his calm demeanour, his ability to de-escalate heightened tensions and find solutions to to overcome barriers. He remained faithful to the organisation and always returned to assist whenever possible.

Unfortunately, this will be no more as we have lost a stalwart supporter to the ravages of COVID19.

Vinod we will always remember you in our hearts. Your loyalty and kindness will stay with us forever.
